Camping T & C
Each pitch can contain no more than 1 main unit (Motorhome / Caravan / Tent) and 1 pup tent (maximum size 2m * 2m and must only have sleeping space). Gazeboo / awnings are permitted but must be contained within your own pitch. Parking is included but only one vehicle is permitted per pitch, additional cars must be parked in the car park as directed. There is NO parking allocated within a back packers pitch; all vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas (we will allow a short period of time to load / unload your vehicles on arrival / departure). When making your booking you must let the mega team know your unit type.
Electric hook-up is for the intended pitch only, no splitters are to be used to supply a second pitch with electricity. Please follow directions as to which socket to use for your allocated pitch.
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times. Open fires, Fireworks and Chinese lanterns are prohibited.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. Refunds will not be issued if cancellation is made after 30th June 2020. Up to this date, refunds will be issued but an admin fee of £30 will be deducted. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.
All pitch bookings must have at least 1 party member that is 18 years or over on 3rd August 2020.
Pets must be kept confined within your pitch and must be kept under close control at all times. When outside of your pitch pets must be on a lead. Pet walking areas are availble off site. You must clear up after your pet(s).
Quiet hours must be respected between 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly. Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated. The team reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable.
You must notify the Sussex Mega Committee on the out of hours arrivals number if you are going to arrive before 09:00 or after 19:00. The contact number will be made available on the Sussex 2020 Mega Website, and on the Mega office door.
Speed limits must be adhered to at all times.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to the Mega team immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the attention of the team during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
No arrivals will be accepted before 12:00 noon on Monday 3rd August 2020. If you arrive before this time you will need to find a suitable place off site to park and wait. Please keep the local roads free and respect the local residents. Only vehicles displaying valid camping permits will be permitted on site.
All pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on 10th August 2020. You must take all your rubbish to the designated areas (or home) and leave your pitch clear.
Chemical toilet waste MUST be disposed of at the designated elsan points.
Any changes to bookings (including, but not limited to, unit type, occupancy and dates) must be notified in writing to the mega team as early as possible, quoting your original order number.
In addition to these terms and conditions, all site rules must be adhered to throughout the showground, including the camping ground.
Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in your being asked to vacate the site. No refunds will be offered in these circumstances.
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions; all changes will be notified to anyone with an active booking in advance of the event.
